The ring is in good condition. The hallmark is worn, assay in Birmingham, no date or maker's mark legible. The garnet measures 11mm x 9mm x 5.1mm approximately. Gross weight 6.2 grams. The ring is in fair condition, the plaque appears to have been re-enamelled, with uneven texture and colour, the shank has been resized. It is not hallmarked or stamped, valued as silver on gold.
