The sleeve is in VG+ condition. In shrink (though not original), there is some light staining on the reverse (top/right hand edge). A clean example with only very minor edgewear and very little wear to the flipback design, there is some pink pen on the front from the second 'o' - with care this may be able to be removed. A fine pair of 19th century French ormolu mounted variegated green marble urns, the reversible covers doubling as candle holders, raised on triform rams head mounted to hoof foot supports, strung with floral garlands, on circular bases, 25 cm high overall (2) Condition Report very fine casting, showing a small split to r/h side of one rams head, the marbles generally ok apart from 1. a chip to one circular base 2. an area broken away and re-glued to the same base 3. the other urn showing a minute chip to underside edge of base 4. a small area of filling to side of base
