On close inspection there is a moderately heavy degree of foxing in places in the plate, disguised slightly by darker areas of shading, and one or two light touches in the margins. . FUNERAL IN CAIRO:. Heavy yellow brownish colouration in the paper to the edges of the margins. Unglazed. . OLD LAROCHE:. Touches of light foxing over the image, more so in the area of the sky, and around the margins. There is a vertical brown line possibly resulting from oxidisation, approximately one centimetre in length, in proximity to the top left hand corner. .
