Simon & Halbig bisque socket head doll, the head incised ‘Simon & Halbig; K & (within a star) R, 50’ brown wig, painted eyebrows and eye lashes, brown sleep eyes; open mouth with four top teeth, to a ball jointed composition body with voice box, 19in. 49cm. tall. Wearing a white cotton petticoat; floral cotton dress and underwear with brown leatherette shoes. Damages and cracks to the head both to the face and to the back; 2nd finger missing on right hand; general wear and tear to body; needs re-stringing. Together with two small Japanese composition head dolls both with composition bent limb bodies, 8in., 20cm. and 7in.18cm. tall; an English teddy bear, worn, eyes missing etc.; a soft ‘Golly’ doll with integral striped trousers; And a small collection of doll’s clothes. Sold as a collection with all faults, not subject to return.
