A Georgian mahogany eight-day longcase clock circa 1790 the four-pillar rack and bell striking movement with 12in enamel break-arch dial signed R Hewitt Fowey decorated with gilt floral sprays and roman numerals in a swan neck pedimented case over fluted hood pilasters blind fret panel with arch shaped long door to trunk. 238cm high. R Hewitt of Fowey recorded in G H Baillie ‘Watchmakers & Clockmakers of the World’ Volume 1. Late 18th century.
A late Georgian mahogany veneered longcase clock the eight day rack striking movement with arch dial painted with deer spandrels and lady picking roses in garden. Signed on dial R Coates Dudley. The mahogany veneered case decorated with boxwood string inlays Gothic style door to trunk swan-neck pediment to hood flanked by columns. 227cm high.

LBSC ‘Kingette’ locomotive and tender built by the late Mr R Colbran of Stockport to a very high standard with copper boiler and fittings including water and pressure gauges safety whistle clack valve and blow down plug. Chassis detail including twin outside cylinders with valve gear part fluted motion. Cab controlled drain cocks and pipework twin mechanical ratchet oilers feed pump. tender including hand feed pump with hand rails. The model finished in blue and black livery. 93cm long in total. Carrying cases included and some history and drawings.
A finely engineered 3. 1/2in. gauge model of the GWR Saint Class 4-6-0. locomotive and tender No 2927. ‘Saint Patrick’ built by Mr E.D.Hatton of Torbay to Don Young drawings with brazed super heated copper boiler built by R R Chambers of Weymouth with fittings including water and pressure gauges safety blower two injectors vacuum brake whistle clack and blowdown valves. Chassis details include twin outside cylinders with inside Stephenson’s link reverse quality cab detail with controlled drain cocks regulator sight glass and usual fittings concealed lubricator and pump fluted connecting rods firebox washout plugs steps hand rails and lamps. Tender details include hand operated brake gear water cocks working leaf springs tool boxes tank vents and filler cap steps and hand irons. The model finished in pre 1928. GWR livery with lining red lamps and name plates by Diane Carney. 7in x 48in. (17.5cm x 122cm). The locomotive has been steamed on a test bed but unfortunately the builder has mislaid boiler documentation. Drawings and transportation cases having display tracks to inside lids are included.

Wainwright SE & CR ‘J’ Class tank locomotive No 1597 built to a very high standard by the late Mr R Colbran of Stockport in 1993. with copper boiler the fittings including water and pressure gauges safety whistle clack valve and blow down plug. Chassis details including twin inside cylinders and side steam water pump Joy valve gear Stephenson’s link. Cab controls including regulator sight glass pressure gauge hand feed pump and other usual fittings. The locomotive is finished in Southern livery with polished steel work. Boiler Test certificate No 284. from The Northern Association of Model Engineers. Working pressure 80psi. Certificate expired the 7th of August 2001.

Chassis details include twin outside cylinders fluted motion steam driven vertical pump valve gear injector hand feed pump cab controls including regulator sight glass pressure gauge and other usual fittings. The locomotive is finished in light blue and black livery. Some boiler history to include boiler certificate number N4-80-3. The Northern Association of Model Engineers. Working pressure 80psi. Certificate expired the 1st of April 2003. Model 92cm long in total.

The boiler fitted with water and pressure gauges safety blower blowdown valve whistle steam brake Walschaert’s valve gear cab controlled draincocks ratchet operated lubricator injector eccentric driven feed pump and bypass lever reverse hand feed pump further details include riveting steps hand and lamp irons. The locomotive is finished in BR Black livery. Boiler History: Original boiler test certificate Serial No RC854. Signed by R R Chambers and Southern Federation of Model Engineering Societies Certificate No 5781. Valid until 20th July 2005. Test pressure 135psi. Safety Valve setting 90psi.
