A George II silver coffee pot, by John Swift, London 1733, tapering circular form, scroll handle, faceted spout, the slightly domed cover with a baluster finial, the side engraved with a cipher, the underside of the base scratch initialled 'M*B' over 'R*M', height 12.3cm, approx. weight 24oz. Provenance: Christie's, King Street, Fine Silver, 7th March 1990, lot 161.
A George II provincial silver later spouted tankard, by Isaac Cookson, Newcastle 1747, the later spout with London Assay Office addition marks for London 2021, tapering circular form, central girdle, domed hinged cover with a scroll thumb-piece, the scroll handle with shell terminal, scratch initialled 'R' over 'T*E', the front with an armorial within foliate scroll mantling, height 20.2cm, approx. weight 30oz.
Two signed oil on canvases both depicting portraits of men. One canvas is signed by W R E Goodrich of a man reading a book and the other signature is indistinguishable. Man with book - H: 38cm, W: 28cm.Man with pipe - H:61cm, W: 51cm. Condition. Fair. Both painting need some attention , such a cleaning and some cracking to the larger canvas.
