A GEORGE III TEAPOT AND CREAM JUG both of oblong shape and partly reeded, the teapot with integral hinge to the domed lid, on ball feet, teapot 15cm h, both London, teapot maker`s mark rubbed, -A, 1815, the jug by Joseph Angell, 1818, 25ozs Teapot with a few light knocks and scratches around the widest part of the body, fully marked, the hinge free from noticeable play, the spout not split or reduced, no evidence of solder or other repairs. Jug - engraved on the front with the gothic initial R, probably at slightly later date, the feet noticeably scatched, not split or repaired. The marks slightly rubbed but all distinct
