A Rene Lalique 'Ceylan' opalescent glass vase, Marcilhac No. 905, engraved mark 'R. LALIQUE FRANCE', 24cm highCONDITION: Occasional minor scuffing to the frosted sections. There is a 7mm x 3mm internal fracture to the inner edge of the rim. Typical small bubbles. Shallow 2mm x 1mm splinter chip to the edge of the foot.
An Edwardian silver gilt-lidded two handled presentation cup and cover, by R & S Garrard and Co. with later engraved inscriptions relating to the 'Grand Military Meeting, Sandown Park, 1947', London, 1909, height 21.5cm, 32.5oz.CONDITION: Some visble tarnishing. Some minor loss to the gilding on the cover. Engraved inscriptiosn on both sides of the cup. A couple of small dings to the top of one handle. Hallmarks clear.

Occasional minor scratches and wear to the base consistent with age and use. The inner neck has some scuffing and a short surface fracture which does not go through to the exterior, otherwise in good condition.

Occasional minor scratches and wear to the base consistent with age and use, otherwise in good condition. The case has repairs to all four hinges and general scuffing to the timber. The case lining is suede and has been adapted to incorporate a lamp fitting (now missing) which has scorched the timber on the interior around the shoulder to head area.
An original early 20th Century St Johns Ambulance medal chain awarded to a Harry. R Maidment. The medal clasps spanning 30+ years of service from 1932 with each bar hallmarked for Birmingham with makers mark W.M Dowler & sons. All clasps in consecutive order with the same registration number 350242 to the reverse. Maidment was registered at St Johns Gate Clerkenwell. Interesting item

Two Nazi daggers and a suitcase: WWll German Army officer's dagger in scabbard. 40cm long in scabbard; Luftwaffe 1st Model dagger in scabbard, the grip with wire binding, 48cm long in scabbard, the suitcase inscribed 'S/Ldr. C. R. Hattersley R.A.F.'The vendor's father was shot down in a Wellington bomber over France, He spent the rest of the war in Stalag Luft lll. After his release he travelled homewards across Poland, and at some stage acquired these two daggers.The suitcase much travelled after the war, as he continued in the RAF, serving in India and Germany.
