Great Britain - QV (line engraved) : (SG 8/10) 1841 1d red-brown, plate 33, a very scarce COMPLETE SHEET RECONSTRUCTION AA-TL, on special A4-sized plating sheets in folder, vast majority are fine 4 margin examples, all except one or two have Maltese Cross cancels, includes most of the listed varieties and several 'P' converted to 'R' types, in addition there are Numbers in Cross cancels 3, 5, 6 (2) and 11 (scarce); there is probably scope for identifying specific Maltese Cross towns, as many strikes are extremely good. A remarkable assembly, having required many hundreds of hours to achieve. Total Catalogue value in excess of £16,000. Please ask for photocopies.
