An important miquelet flintlock gun of royal provenance, dating: last quarter of the 18th Century, provenance: Naples, dating: last quarter of the 18th Century, provenance: Naples, Scarce, Spanish, smooth, two-stage, 16 mm cal. barrel; first part is octagonal, marked 'Diego Esquivel En Madrid Anno de 1723' in gold between floral motifs and on stamps, gold as well; after the rings and acanthus leaves it is round, decorated in gold at the nozzle, swallow-tailed fore-sight; tang engraved, with a broad sight; beautiful miquelet flintlock, engraved, chiselled, gilded and partially pierced with floral and geometrical motifs, 'R' stamp of the Royal Factory of Naples in gold, stamped 'NIS' under the crown inside; wooden, half stock with checkered palm-rest, borders with silver thread, counter-plate decorated with dark horn snakes, bordered with silver thread, with a silver medallion signed 'Gori a Volterra'; dark horn trigger guard embossed with in-the-round mask (another one at ...) and decorated in silver, butt decorated en suite, left side with a horn 'cushion'. Silver small shield on the back with 'L I' monogram under the crown for Grand Duke Leopold I of Tuscany (from 1765 to 1790 he is the emperor of the Holy Roman Empire and King of Hungary and Bohemia from 1790 to 1792 as Leopold II of Habsburg-Lorraine). Complete with a horn-tipped, wooden ramrod., length 132 cm.

Camera Repair (Oregon WI 53575) in 2012. The Leica M2 was cleaned and adjusted for good working order. Noted that the camera did not require a 100% overall. The 2nd image in the R/F had very minor spots that could not be removed. The inner lens elements of the Leitz Summicron lens was cleaned, some fogging noted. The inner lens and 'bugeyes' of the Leica Elmarit lens was corrected and lens cleaned.

A Diamond Three Stone Ring, three graduated round brilliant cut diamonds in white claw settings above a carved scroll gallery, to knife edge shoulders on a plain polished shank, total estimated diamond weight 1.95 carat approximately, finger size R see illustration The shank is slightly misshapen. It is not hallmarked or stamped. The diamonds measure 6.40mm x 6.40mm x 3.2mm, 5.20mm x 5.20mm x 2.98mm and 5.70mm x 5.50mm x 3.3mm approximately. The approximate qualities of the diamonds are; colour G/H, clarity SI1/SI2/I1. Gross weight 3.4 grams. Condition Report made 14th February 2017.
An 18 Carat Gold Diamond Solitaire and Black Enamel Mourning Ring, inset with an old cut diamond within a black enamel border, on a tapered shank, estimated diamond weight 0.50 carat approximately, finger size R see illustration The ring is in good condition. It is hallmarked Chester, 1911, the sponsor's mark is indistinct. The inner shank is engraved 'In Loving Memory, Jan. 7th. 1912'. The enamel is in good condition. The diamond measures 5.1mm x 5.6mm x 2.85mm. The approximate qualities of the diamond are; colour H/I, clarity I1/I2. Gross weight 5.0 grams. Condition Report made 19th January 2017.
