Raupenhelm für Angehörige der badischen Kavallerie, um 1840 Hohe Glocke aus derbem schwarzen Leder (zwei Hälften, im Scheitelbereich vernäht) mit vergoldeten Messingbeschlägen (berieben), angesetzte grün unterlegte Schirme (Vorderschirmnaht offen). Stirnseitig ein fein reliefiertes Greifenemblem unter Krone, auf dem ovalen Schild ein reliefiertes "R". Hoher, verschraubter Kamm mit schwarzem Rosshaarbesatz. Lederunterlegte Schuppenketten (mittige Riemchen fehlen) an kreisförmigen eisernen Rosetten (wohl in der Tragezeit ergänzt). Feines schwarzes Lederlaschenfutter (Fehlstellen), unter dem Vorderschirm das eingeprägte badische Wappen. Einige Befestigungselemente fehlen oder wurden ergänzt. Teilweise beschädigt, Trage- und Altersspuren. Selten.Wohl Helm einer Bürgerwehr (Rastatt?) nach dem Muster des badischen Dragonerhelms.
