The stiff cream folding card featuring an image to the inside of Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip with young Prince Charles and Princess Anne. Signed by both, "Elizabeth R" and "Philip" in dark ink. With a gilt embossed Crown to the cover. 1952 was a tumultuous year for the royal family, Elizabeth and Philip were sent on a tour of Australia and New Zealand by way of Kenya in place of Elizabeth's ailing father, King George VI, during which word arrived of the death of the King and consequently Elizabeth's immediate accession to the throne.
