Chitarra di Gennaro Fabricatore (Napoli 1770 circa-1844 circa), 1820 circa. tavola con decori in ebano e carta a motivo floreale riportato, cassa in acero, fondo intero. Diverse spaccature, ma in condizioni originali (senza restauri). Etichetta: Gennaro fabricatore. Niccolò Paganini oltre che violinista fu appassionato chitarrista e compositore di opere per questo strumento. Questa chitarra è molto probabilmente quella inventariata da Carlo Carli che il 4 marzo del 1828 così la descrive: Una chitarra di Napoli con cassa in legno era cioè tra gli oggetti di Paganini che aveva in deposito a Milano e quindi presente a Gaione, quando Paganini morì (21 luglio 1840, n. 247). Questa chitarra è verosimilmente una delle tre nominate da Achille Paganini nel primo testamento del 1868: Delle tre chitarre che suonava mio padre, una la più grande lascio a mio figlio Andrea Paganini, l’altra a mio figlio Luigi Paganini, e la più piccola a mio figlio Riccardo Paganini.
