A last quarter of the 19th Century Silver Cased Open Face Pocket/Stop Watch, E R Davies – Shrewsbury and Wem, 71581, the frosted gilt and jewelled ¾ plate movement with blued steel screws, to a bi-metallic cut compensated balance with blued steel hairspring, to a signed sunk centre Roman enamel dial with outside track with scale of 0-300, to a signed centre and fitted with minute hand (hour and sweep centre seconds lacking), in a hinged and polished case with coin milled band and hand set, marked for Chester 1878 and numbered 71581, width 2”
