Constable of Bromley The Sceptre trout fly rod, 2 sections, 8' 6", also labelled To Ishbell from Cliff, rod bag with attached label "Constable Sceptre, 8' 6", line 6, Property of Ishbell Shepherd, Date Registered 8/7/75". Handwritten to label verso "Given personally to the owner by Clifford Constable, Bromley, Kent, England, during a weekend visit to Testcombe (R. Test)".

Franconia was an ocean liner operated by the Cunard Line. She was launched on 23rd July 1910 at the Swan, Hunter & Wigham Richardson shipyard in Newcastle upon Tyne.Her maiden voyage in February 1911 was between Liverpool and Boston. She was nicknamed the Bathroom Ship as she had more bathrooms and showers on board than the Mauretania.After several years service primarily in the North Atlantic, she was taken into service as a troop transport in early 1915. On October 4th 1916, while heading for Saloniks, she was torpedoed and sunk by the German U-boat UB-47
