Harry John Turner, Rifleman, 18th London Regt (London Irish Rifles) K.I.A. 25.9.1915 aged 28, and is commemorated at Loos Memorial. Together with a Q Victoria Commemorative ‘cross’ from Westminster praising the Beneficent reign 1897 VF

Three: 1939-45 star, Pacific star, War medal, VF, the medals of Aircraftman R B Cowap. Together with photos and letters home, addressed “Dear Wife”, from RAF Cranwell, Lincs, then from RAF Transit Camp Seletar Singapore 1941, a letter from Air Ministry 14.4.1943 informing wife “husband must be regarded as missing” from 1st Feb 1943 following the evacuation of Malaya, Java and Sumatra; telegram dated 4.10.45 informing her of her husband’s death and with follow up letter 6.11.1945 stating 1377706 Aircraftman (First Class) Ronald Bye Cowap, RAFVR, who was a POW in Japanese hands was reported....to have died 31.3.1945, in the Pakan Baroe area of Sumatra from Dysentery.
