Note: Private George Archibald Honiatt, served with the RMLI, 2nd RM Battn RN Division and was killed in action 13th November 1916 aged 19, and is commemorated at Thiepval Memorial France; his brother Private Reginald Jack Honiatt served with the 16th Bn Middlesex Regt and was killed in action 29th April 1916 aged 23 and is buried at Forceville Communal Cemetery France. £200-300

Frank Duke died of Pleurisy and Pneumonia 5th November 1918 in the hospital Langensalza, Germany having been taken as a Prisoner of War following action at Kemmel 25th April 1918, he was also 19 at the time of his death); a single BWM (265436 Pte A E Duke R Suss R) VF with BWM transmittal slip and named New Testament. Lalique France, N:991, The flared form moulded with lozenge shaped protrusions against a foliate ground,12.5 cm high There is a tiny, shallow slither chip on the inside of the rim and some further minute nicks. There are some small nicks and abrasions on the ends of some of the protrusions. A mould-stress line to the inside on the base and a few on the sides - but this is not damage - it is part of the making process. Wear to the raised rim of the underside of the foot in keeping with age and use.

Laliq',The clear glass bottle moulded with vertical lines heightened with complimenting coloured enamel, the elaborate stopper of cassis colour moulded with pendant stems laden with blackcurrants, with white staining on the stopper, 11.5 cm highThere are some minute abrasions on the neck rim, underside of the foot rim and on the stopper and an occasional fine scratch. There are also some tiny open bubbles and inclusions in the glass from the making process. There is a tiny nick/open bubble on the edge of the shoulder on the stopper shank and on the end of the tiara stopper. The white staining is a little faded. Overall in good condition.
