An H & R Daniel porcelain trio, first gadroon shape, pattern number 4025 and a teacup and saucer by the same factory, second gadroon shape, numbered 4055 in gilt - Part of a private owner collection CONDITION REPORT: Trio: Coffee cup - Several small black spots to the glaze. A very small amount of wear to the gilding on the rim. A very small scratch to the purple flower. Tea cup - Several blue and black spots to the glaze. Some scratches to the inside of the cup. tiny amount of wear to the gilt rim. Hairline crack running along the base of the cup, approximately 3cm long. Firing crack to beneath the glaze of the handle. Saucer - A few scratches to the glaze to the centre of the saucer. A few black dots to the glaze. Teacup and saucer: Cup - Remnants of a sticker to the outer body of the cup. Some minor wear to the gilt decoration. Slight crazing to the glaze in places. Saucer - Some wear to the gilding, especially to the centre, and also to the pink ground. A few scratches to the glaze.

An H & R Daniel porcelain cream bowl, cover and stand, First Gadroon shape, with vine and fruit moulding around the handles and the finial, with maroon floral and foliate transfer decoration and gilt detail, cornucopia finial lacking, the bowl 19.5cm across, and a teapot by the same factory, second gadroon shape, variation A, with acanthus scroll handle and feet, apple green bands and hand painted with botanical studies of flowers with gilt detail, handle and spout, finial lacking, 26.5cm across - Part of a private owner collection CONDITION REPORT: Cream Bowl - Small chip to rim of foot, two hair line cracks, minor scratches to and small areas of gilding worn. Lid - Knop lacking, small areas of gilding worn and a hairline crack. Stand - Hairline cracks and some very minor scratches. Teapot - Firing faults to the joining area of one of the feet and to the handle, some minor wear to the gilding, a small chip to the inside of the rim, yellow stain to the interior, scratches to the green ground by the handle. Lid - Knop lacking and solder where there had been a previous bolt repair with brown staining around the area, and firing cracks to the inside of the rim.

A William IV Scottish silver pair cased verge pocket watch signed J. Gillan Inverbury, the white enamel dial with black Roman numerals and spade hands, the verge fusee movement no. 748, the cases hallmarked London 1830, the outer case 55mm diameter, together with ‘horse leg’ watch key (unmarked) MOVEMENT: full plate gilt verge fusee movement with finely pierced and engraved balance cock with mask at base, three arm flat under-sprung balance, and Tompion type regulator, movement functioning nicely at time of cataloguing. CASE: Inner: hallmarked and with makers mark JG in rectangular punch, and ‘R & J (over) S’. Hinge damaged and with poor wire repair, glass detached scuffed with several small scratches at the centre. Outer: hallmarked on both bezel and case back, three watch maker’s papers within. Silver scratched and scuffed commensurate with age. DIAL: chipped around the cannon pinion, minute hand damages and hour hand replaced. Minor chips around the dial edge.
