An Edwardian double side wood jigsaw puzzle "The Navy ABC" the Deans Gold Medal Series No.55, on one side N-O, A-C and X-Z, on the other G-H, L-M and S-T, so D-F, I-K, P-R and U-W is lacking although the pictures for these are present, original box complete except a corner of one piece SW of "N". (The box does not hold complete alphabet).

Marked internally with makers mark of W. Carter & Co. 56 Pall Mall, London and owners initials `R.H.`. Complete with japanned tin case with owner`s details Major R. Hutchinson 4th Dragoon Guards` and original white cap cover.
