Russell & Son Pair of Arts & Crafts 'Lygon' brass candlesticks manufactured in the Lygon Arms Workshops, Broadway faceted stem mounted on domed octagonal base, nozzled drip-pan and base with hand stamped details impressed 'Lygon' and 'R&S' maker's mark 25cm high (2). This model is very close to design number 168 from 1924 in the Gordon Russell archive. The drawing under that number has more ornate decoration and there is also a photograph of three other candlesticks all described as number 168 with the same type of link in the middle of the stem but with a variety of decorations and base shapes.
A collection of glass scent bottles with hallmarked silver collars comprising an Art Deco type pyramid shaped example, William Vale & Son, Birmingham 1912, a similarly shaped example with rubbed marks, a spreading hobnail cut example with foliate collar, John Hazlewood Worrall, active 1899-1904, London, rubbed date mark, and a similar globular example, Birmingham 1905, plus a silver topped pear shaped sugar caster, probably J & R Griffin, Chester 1911 (5). CONDITION REPORT: Chips throughout.

A circular Ruskin shallow bowl raised on three feet with blue centre fading to green at the edges, diameter 22.5cm, an early 20th century Royal Worcester jardinière with hand painted panels of roses and rosebuds, signed "R (Harry) Austin", with green mark to base for 1909, and three 19th century blue and white leaf moulded dishes (5). CONDITION REPORT: the Royal Worcester jardinière has a small nick to the inner rim at the top, very small scratches to the paint, one of the leaf dishes has been broken into several pieces and crudely repaired, another has had a small break and a chip, and the third has firing flaws and a chip.
A pair of late 19th century Continental bisque porcelain figures, she holding a mandolin, he a violin, height 42cm, and a further similar figure of a young boy with two chickens by his feet, height 38cm (3). CONDITION REPORT: Man - mark to chin, cuff chipped, bow mended. R&L in oval stamp to back. Woman - good condition, same mark to back. Boy - arm restored, slight moulding flaws.
