A Lalique opalescent glass bowl, 24cm diam, moulded and wheel cut signatures R LALIQUE FRANCE engraved No 382 In fine condition apart from a few light scratches, no cracks, chips, grinding down or restoration. Note on the underside on one of the four feet there is a small chip but this, it is felt is a manufacturing flaw and in any case does not detract. The bowl is stable when in the upright position

A small 18th Century burr walnut and ebony moulded bureau, the fall front with a fitted interior and drawer below, with pierced white metal escutcheons and side carrying handles, the lock with an engraved crown above the initials A R, on a late 19th Century stand, 48 x 96cm By repute this bureau was the property of Queen Adelaide, consort to William IV. The crown above the letter 'A' would only be bourne by the sovereign's consort or widow.
A set of four Regency specimen wood and ebonised quartetto tables, attributed to Gillows of Lancaster, each with a moulded rectangular top on baluster supports, joined by a conforming stretcher, the largest with burr walnut top crossbanded in rosewood, the second with rosewood top crossbanded in amboyna, the third with a satinwood top crossbanded in amboyna and the smallest with a chessboard top crossbanded in maple, eight stretchers replaced, the largest 58cm wide x 74cm high x 40cm deep A set of quartetto tables of this type are at Leighton Hall, Lancashire and are likely to have been supplied by Gillows, c. 1810 (see R Edwards and M Jourdain, Georgian Cabinet-Makers, rev. ed., London, 1955, p.221, fig. 193)

Lalique: a large blue glass perfume flask / scent bottle, made for Worth, of circular flask form moulded 'Worth' in rectangular panel near the base, the opposite side with 'Cologne', blue 'Dans la Nuit' stopper of crescent moon and stars, base moulded with R. Lalique and hand numbered H932, 24cm high including stopper. (nb. a/f: Stopper stuck in top.)
