A late 19th century miniature rosewood and inlaid satinwood longcase clock, the enamel dial bearing Roman numerals, movement signed 'R & Co.', 45 cm high.Condition report: The case is sunbleached on the top of the arch, the front of the case at the bottom and down the right hand side, but not too adversely. On the trunk the top and right side moulding is missing. A very small chip to the left hand corner of the inlaid fan of the pediment. A couple of small scratches on the glass but not too detrimental. Winding key is present. The movement is currently working and keeping good time. There appear to be no cracks or chips to the enamel. The case is structurally sound.

HAND PAINTED TEXAN SKIFFLE GROUP POSTER SIGNED BY JOHNNY GUITAR BYRNE. An original hand painted poster for a circa 1950s 'Engineers Dance' with a billing for the Texan Skiffle Group, who would soon be known as 'Rory Storm and the Hurricanes' with Ringo Starr on drums. Signature to the verso is by Johnny 'Guitar' Byrne. Measures 16 x 22" and in good condition. Folded. Also a Rory Storm 7" single (R 5197, poor condition).
THE BEATLES - PLEASE PLEASE ME LP (1ST UK MONO 'BLACK AND GOLD' - PMC 1202). Well presented original UK mono 'black and gold' copy of Please Please Me. Parlophone PMC 1202 with black and gold labels and Dick James credits for tracks A1, 2, 4, 6, 7, B4 and B6. Side 1 of the record ( is in VG condition with some light surface hairline marks, these never heavier. Side 2 is in Ex condition showing just a couple of very light surface scuffs, this not a common feature at all. Matrix/mother stampers:XEX 421-1N 1 G & XEX 422-1N 1 R (1st day stampers). With original Emitex inner. The sleeve (1st printing 'right aligned' Angus McBean credit) is in VG+ condition - a great example with the front in extremely clean order, the reverse flipback with a few light creases. Also complete with original Nems bag in well presented condition.

THE BEATLES - A HARD DAY'S NIGHT - ORIGINAL UK PARLOPHONE 7" DEMO (R 5160). Fantastic to see original UK 7" demo of A Hard Day's Night c/w Things We Said Today (Parlophone R 5160). The record (white 'red A' labels) is in VG condition. There are a number of surface and scuff marks to the playing surfaces, though these do not extend deeper and there are no heavier scratches. With clean labels (no pen or other markings), KT tax code on the B side. The four prong centre is fully intact. Matrix/mother stampers: 7XCE 17714-1N KT 1 JR ('JR' stamper codes were reserved for the earliest demo pressings) & 7XCE 17715-1N KT 2 GG. Housed with original company sleeve.

Britain' text) is in very fine Ex condition showing just a couple of light and minor surface marks noted - none of these ever heavier in nature. Side 1 is in VG+ condition - a very glossy lustre to the playing surfaces, there are just a few light scuff marks with 1 'just feelable' scratch noted at the end of A4, this do not cause any problems with playback. Side 2 is in fantastic Ex+ condition showing perhaps just a couple of extremely faint and extremely fine and wispy paper marks. With lovely clean and sharp labels, with ZT tax code on side 2. Matrix/mother stampers: XEX 421-1N 1 R & XEX 422-1N 1 A. With original Emitex inner. The 1st pressing ('right' aligned Angus McBean credit) is in solid VG condition. The front extremely clean and sharp, there is some lifting on the bottom (reverse) flipback tab, perhaps more noted on the right hand side where there is some tape repair. Also complete with original Nems bag.
