A late 18th century violin: possibly of the Joseph Hill school, with two piece back of medium to narrow flame and curl, the varnish of a light to mid brown honey colour, the head replaced, length of back 35.5cm. together with a bow stamped R. Zdvihal with ebony and mother-of-pearl inlaid frog, (63gms) and another bow, contained in a carrying case.
Richard et Cie, a carriage timepiece in a carved wooden box: the eight-day duration movement having a replaced platform lever escapement and striking the hours and half-hours on a gong with push-button repeat, the backplate stamped with the serial number 3426, maker's trademark, the initials R & Co within an oval, along with Made in France, the white enamel dial with black Roman numerals and blued steel spade hands, contained in a brass Corniche case, complete with a carved wood carrying box of Japanese design, height 18cm handle up, 14.5cm handle down.

Halse, with tokens of appreciation and photographs of her and Peter Shepherd (3) Peter Shepherd was the BBC's head of wardrobe and costumes where the vendor's mother, Mrs Rosamond Sheers (known to her work colleagues as Miss R. Halse), worked as a wardrobe mistress 1966-1979. She was presented with these original sketches by Shepherd himself on her retirement.
An early Victorian Old Sheffield Plate three bottle decanter stand, the trefoil shaped stand with scrolling pierced work sides, raised on three outswept feet, with foliate cast carrying handle complete with two original cut glass decanters and stoppers, Old Sheffield Plate marks, makers mark R&H C.1850, 44cm h. (One decanter missing).
