Arnold of London, No. 568, the 3ins diameter silvered dial with Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds hand and fine blued steel hands, to the fusee movement with maintaining power and unusual Patent bi-metallic balance with blued helical spring, the rear plate inscribed "Jno. R. Arnold London Invt. et Fecit No. 568", contained in lacquered brass cylindrical casing and mounted in brass gimbal, the whole contained in brass bound mahogany double opening case, 5.75ins square x 6ins high Note: John Roger Arnold, Apprenticed to his father, John Arnold I in 1783 and also to A.L.Breguet, Member of the Clockmakers Company 1796, Master 1817, Died 1843. Bronzed bead dress - 34'' bust, belt missing, couple of loose threads around zip area, couple of tiny marks to bodice, stitched repairs around collar. Rust crepe dress - 32'' bust, slight wear overall. Pale blue jacket - 38'' bust, several thread pulls and slight wear. Pale pink jacket - 33'' bust, some slight staining and thread pulls.
