A 5" Gauge Live Steam Model of the 2-4-0 Beyer Peacock Tank Steam Locomotive Supplied to The Isle of Man Railway; possibly built from plans/casting's by Ashdown Models for their "Peveril" design, fitted with silver soldered boiler, pressure gauge, sight glass and usual ancillary controls; The chassis with twin outside cylinders, Stephenson valve gear, brake etc,the locomotive finished in green with black/white lining to boiler, she is named "Crellin" with brass name plates to each side, also a brass headboard and cab plates for the "Isle of Man", the R/No 17 to cab rear and a small brass plate for possibly the model builder "1985 R J Smith, Erdington". the locomotive requires some attention but worthy of a full inspection, dimension 34 x 10 x 16" high.
A Five Inch Gauge Live Steam Example of an 0-4-0 Saddle Tank Steam Locomotive, similar to the Maxitrak Quarry Hunslet "Alice" - silver soldered copper boiler with pressure gauge, slight glass, plus usual ancillary controls - chassis with twin outside cylinder and valve gear, etc. Model finished in overall purple with white lining, named "Bubbles" with R/No. 1, she also carries brass plates for the "Little Bedstead Iron Railway". Currently in poor condition but worthy of a full inspection with a view to sympathetic renovation. Dimension: 33 x 12 x 27 inch high there are no build plans of boiler certificate.
