Antique Engraving hand coloured Mount Tabor. Mount Tabor (Hebrew: ?? ????, Modern Har Tavor, Tiberian Har T??ôr, Arabic: ??? ???????, Jabal a?-??r Latin: Itabyrium, Koine Greek: ???? ?????) is located in Lower Galilee, Israel, at the eastern end of the Jezreel Valley, 11 miles (18 km) west of the Sea of Galilee. It was the site of the Mount Tabor battle between Barak under the leadership of the Israelite judge Deborah, and the army of Jabin commanded by Sisera, in the mid 12th century BCE. It is believed by many Christians to be the site of the Transfiguration of Jesus,[1] although Mount Hermon at Caesarea Philippi has also been proposed. Mount Tabor is known as Har Tavor in Hebrew, Itabyrium in the Graeco-Roman world, Jebel et-Tur in Arabic, and the Mount of Transfiguration in some Christian contexts. CONDITION REPORT: There are some areas of concentrated scratches and further minor scratches and small nicks, some wear where the base of the bowl joins the curved sides, there is one dent approximately half way up one of the sides with a crease/scratch, otherwise a few further very minor dents.

Great Eastern Railway Sykes Lock and Block mahogany cased instrument for PARK with brass plaque makers plate W R SYKES. Park signal box was later renamed Northumberland Park in 1923. This instrument was retained at the Stratford S&T store and was purchased by the vendor when it closed. In original condition and appears complete, rare to see a GER instrument of this type.
LNER A4 Gresley type regulator handle from A4 4-6-2, BR 60010 Dominion of Canada, clearly stamped R (for right hand) and the number 10. No.10 was in Doncaster works for General repairs in 1946 and 1947 and the handle would have been stamped and fitted to the loco on either of those visits. In very good condition.
Maryport &. Carlisle 14 inch. Dial wall mounted weight driven wall railway clock, ex Brayton Station Signal Box. The brass weight driven movement has rectangular plates, turned pillars with central rings and is mounted on a seat board, the pendulum has a flat steel rod with a brass bob. The Dial with subsidiary second dial is marked with the supplier's name of W. Wilson Maryport and the oak case with chisel to the base retains its enamel LNWR numberplate 5668, inside the door is inscribed various markings including R Norman 9/5/60-18/3/61 Denys Brayton 22-5-33. The clock was acquired in 1967 when the signal box was closed. A superb timepiece from this relatively small railway company, in working condition complete with weight pendulum and key.
