Clinton K.B., certifying that Doctor John MacNamara Hayes was the Inspector of Rebel Hospitals in North America from June 1780 to the conclusion of the War - 'With great diligence and much advantage to some thousands of Rebel French and Spanish Prisoners of War put under his care'. 'I further certify that Doctor Hayes' professional services during the whole American War have been Meritorious' - signed by the General, a Warrant appointing J. MacNamara Hayes M.D. to be a Physician Extraordinary to His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales dated 8th December 1790 - signed by Lord Southampton, a Warrant dated September 1st 1797 awarding Sir John MacNamara Hayes Baronet, the sum of £320 six shillings and four pence to repay fees paid on creation to be a Baronet, signed by 'George R.' (The Prince Regent) and by William Pitt, a bill from the College of Arms for £59, six shillings and four pence for Armorial bearings on becoming a Baronet, dated Feb. 1797, several photographic portraits of the MacNamara Hayes family and related documents
