An 18 carat gold diamond solitaire and black enamel mourning ring, inset with an old cut diamond within a black enamel border, on a tapered shank, estimated diamond weight 0.50 carat approximately, finger size R The ring is in good condition. It is hallmarked Chester, 1911, the sponsor's mark is indistinct. The inner shank is engraved 'In Loving Memory, Jan. 7th. 1912'. The enamel is in good condition. The diamond measures 5.1mm x 5.6mm x 2.85mm. The approximate qualities of the diamond are; colour H/I, clarity I1/I2. Gross weight 5.0 grams. Condition Report made 19th January 2017.
A diamond three stone ring, graduated old cut diamonds drill set into a plain polished flat sided shank, total estimated diamond weight 0.70 carat approximately, finger size R The ring is in good condition. It is stamped '18ct' and in our opinion would test as gold. The approximate qualities of the diamonds are; colour H,I,J, clarity S1/SI2/I1. The central diamond have a chip to the table. Gross weight 7.8 grams. CR made 26th September 2016. Believed to be a period ring, not a reproduction. Evidence of re-sizing seen to each shoulder, appearing as a faint band of discolouration.

A KPM Berlin porcelain plaque, circa 1880, painted with Ruth in the Cornfield after Charles Landelle, signed R Dittrich, impressed KPM and sceptre marks, and inscribed rrd1080RUTH to reverse, 23.5cm by 16cm Provenance: The sale of the contents of Steeton Hall, Keighley, sold by Messrs Dacre, Son & Hartley. R Dittrich is believed to have worked as a porcelain painter in Vienna and specialised in producing copies of Ruth in the Cornfield after Charles Landelle.Plaque in good condition. Two loose silhouette - female good, male has slight burn mark on left edge and small tear (NB there is a poem Forget Me Not signed And W R Whyte dated 27 Oct 1849. Large multiple silhouette sheets - are both in poor condition with tears, creases and staining throughout. Single cutout of a yacht is badly damaged bottom left angle. Three prints are good. 5/2/09
