Parker RN), NGS 1915, 1 clasp Palestine 1936-39 (Cdr (E)), 1939-45 star, Atlantic star, Africa star with North Africa 1942-43 clasp, Burma star with Pacific clasp, Italy star, War medal with M.I.D. leaf, EIIR Coronation 1953. Mounted court style, VF and EF. Together with 2 albums which include photos of the German Fleet at Scapa Flow 1919, Salvaging the Baden and Emden, Salvaging Italian mail seaplane Adriatic 1926, Catapulting Fairey IIIF 710 (John Henry Wood) 1932 at sea, photos of M.T.E. Chatham and other photos of naval life, family etc, mostly from the 1930’s; a fine pencil portrait of recipient as Midshipman 1923 and an engraved nameplate R.W.Parker RN from a naval trunk or similar. Note: Rear Admiral R W Parker born 1902, attended Royal Naval College at Osborne and Dartmouth, Midshipman 1918, served in Grand Fleet, specialised in Engineering 1922-24, Engineer Officer HMS Rodney 1942-44, HMS Indomitable (Pacific Fleet) 1944-46; Command HMS Caledonia RN Rosyth 1949-52, Rear Admiral (E) 1952. On the Staff of C in C Plymouth; Deputy Engineer in Chief of the Fleet 1953-55, retired 1955.

A Geo coloured print of the Village of Waterloo from a drawing made on the spot 24th June 1815, pub by R Bowyer 1816, depicting Wellington’s HQ on the left and the church on the right (contains today many memorials to officers killed). The main scene is the removal of French cannon from the battlefield on the 24th. GC, in its original old frame.
A Vic Naval officer’s sword, unusual light pattern, slightly curved blade 29” etched with crowned anchor, coat of arms and foliage, makers name S R Gould and Sons Devonport; brass hilt with lion’s head pommel, folding guard and wire bound sharkskin grip; in its brass mounted leather scabbard with bullion knot. A Sapphire and Diamond Cluster Ring, the oval cut sapphire within a border of ten round brilliant cut diamonds, in white claw settings, to a tapered shoulder plain polished shank, total estimated diamond weight 2.00 carat approximately, finger size R The ring is in good condition. It is stamped `18CT` and in our opinion would test as gold. The sapphire measures 10.08mm x 8.03mm x 4.10mm. The approximate qualities of the diamonds are; colour I/J/K, clarity SI1/SI2/I1. An Aesthetic Movement Walnut Sideboard, in the manner of C & R Light, late 19th century, decorated with gilt ground panels of birds and fruit, the three cupboard doors with stylised handles, 112cm by 48cm by 116cm Reasonable condition, with the exception of the back left foot, which has been split and repaired. Each corner scuffed and with minor losses. Gilt panels vary in condition. General scuffs and the gilt ground sections starting to lift. Two keys. 090713
