A Royal Worcester plate, painted Lake Derwentwater, signed R Rushton, with gilt rim (chipped), 27 cm diameter Condition report Report by GHSmall chip is on the left hand side of the plate in the gilded border. Some very tiny losses to paint towards the left hand side of the front. No obvious hairline cracks or restoration.
A group of seven medals, awarded to Major Ralph Oswald Harvey, comprising an OBE (M), 1914-15 Trio (2 Lieut R O Harvey, MID) Jubilee Medal, Coronation Medal and Defence Medal. Harvey was commissioned at the outbreak of war from the Berkshire Yeomanry to the special list and sent to the Middle East and appointed Military Governor of Basra. He was mentioned in dispatches in this capacity and received the OBE for services during the war. Post war he worked for a shipping company and on his death in 1961 left an estate valued at £115,000. A brass striking skeleton clock, signed R House, Marlborough, circa 1870, twin fusee movement with anchor escapement and rack striking on a top mounted bell, five spoke wheels, silvered chapter ring signed, raised on an ebonised base, 33cm high Clock needs total restoration, movement is dirty, parts with signs of rust, chapter ring is discoloured, minute hand is missing, crutch is missing, ebonised base is worn, glass dome is missing, pendulum, suspension spring is damaged, pendulum is damaged.
An 18ct white gold sapphire two row ring, the step cut sapphires in channel settings, on a (later) plain polished shank, finger size R The ring is in good condition overall, though many of the sapphires are scuffed. It is possible that this has been an earlier full eternity ring that has been re-modelled more recently. It is hallmarked with sponsor's mark 'BMS', Birmingham, 2005. Gross weight 7.4 grams. Emerald and diamond ring is U. roby ring has surface scratches and is dirty including the stones, mounts appear sturdy and stones are not moving. Emrald and diamond ring has surface scratching and is dirty. Some of the stones have chips and various inclusions. Both are in need of a good clean - cannot comment on stones individually as not qualified gemologist.
