Various conditions. (4 items) Able Seaman Charles Ernest Samuel Steer was killed on 1st November 1914 serving on board HMS Monmouth during the Battle of Coronel. Officers Steward 2nd Class William John Argent was killed on 2nd October 1917 when serving on board HMS Brisk which struck a mine laid by U-79 off Bull Point County Antrim causing 32 casualties. Private Fred Southwell was killed on 25th August 1918 whilst serving with the 9th Battalion Duke of Wellingtons West Riding Regiment. Gunner Joseph Sweet was killed on 2nd October 1917 whilst serving with the 25th Siege Battery Royal Garrison Artillery.

WW1 Casualty Victory Medal Sportsman Battalion Royal Fusiliers, medal was awarded to “STK-2066 PTE W S INWOOD R FUS”. Medal is missing its ribbon but remains in good overall condition. Private Walter Samuel Inwood was killed on 13th November 1916 and is buried Serre Road Cemetery No2, Somme, France. His prefix indicates service with the Stockbroker Battalion Royal Fusiliers, CWWGC lists him as serving with the 23rd (First Sportsman) Battalion Royal Fusiliers.
