GOLFING INTEREST: A 9CT GOLD PRESENTATION GOLFING TROPHY of urn form, the pull-off cover surmounted by a winged figure, the lobed body decorated with trailing leaves and berries above a fluted lower section applied with rams head masks and swags, the handles applied with sitting figures, on a spreading circular foot, detaching from an ebonised silver gilt mount, applied with three sitting cherubs, the central cartouche reading "Golfing Unions Competition Winner 1913. R W May. Presented by the Daily Mail", the lid possibly by Wakely & Wheeler, the body by Elkington & Co., the silver gilt base by Elkington & Co. London 1913, 11" high (c.358.7grams). A leaded glass panel, with clear glass surround. Overall dimensions - width 77 cm, height 108 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: The stained glass panel is late Victorian. The condition is generally very good. One of the orange panels to the left of the top of the letter R has two small cracks. There is one small hairline crack across the third from bottom left narrow border panel in blue. On the same side the fourth from bottom and sixth from bottom green rectangular border panels both have small hairline cracks. These are the only minor problems.

CONDITION REPORT: This painting is framed and glazed. It is in extremely good condition with no damage, no repairs and no restoration. The picture has not been relined and could be enjoyed or resold in its current condition without the need for any work.
