EDWICK RUMBOLD - SHADES OF GREY C/W BOGGLE WOGGLE 7" - ORIGINAL UK DEMO (PARLOPHONE - R 5622). Killer cuts here from Edwick Rumbold, this a superb condition original UK demo on Parlophone (green/white labels, R 5622). The record is in ace Ex+ or 'NM' condition with only a couple of extremely minor, faint and wispy hairline marks. Fantastic clean condition labels. Complete with brill Ex+ condition original company sleeve. Penned by Jeff Martin, he stated "We recorded "Boggle Woggle" as a promotional exercise for ICI's then new range of psychedelic coloured dress material, and I hurriedly came up with "Shades of Grey" as a b-side, which was then switched and released as the 'A'!"

MAC CURTIS - THE LOW ROAD 7" - ORIGINAL UK PRESSING (PARLOPHONE - 45-R 4279). The extremely scarce haunting Rockabilly groover from Mac Curtis - we doubt a better condition original UK copy exists. The record is in archive condition - absolutely staggering to see like this, a few extremely faint, tiny and wispy paper marks are visible under intense LED lighting. The distinctive purple/gold labels are in quite wonderful condition too, this record feeling effectively 'as new'. Housed with mighty fine Ex condition original company sleeve.

Originally discovered by R. T. Clough ARIBA FSA Scot in the Lake District in the 1920's. Subjected to a full analysis by the Royal Armouries in 2009 - AM2103 and Inv. B0531 which state that it is typical pattern-welded example of the period. 9th Century.

DRAKE 25 PICCADILLY LONDON, faceted back edge, characteristic white metal mounted hilt with carved basket weave wooden grip, set with white metal studs, pommel mount lacking but stone present, contained in its white metal mounted scabbard decorated with thistles, the upper mount with the figure of St Andrew with a saltire, the mid mount with entwined rose and thistle motif, the lower mount with a lion emerging from a coronet, complete with companion knife and fork, both lacking pommel mounts but one stone present.

This painting was published on the Fleetwood First Day Cover for the China 50fen Rhododendron stamp issued June 25, 1991. Born in 1939 in Yunnan Province, Zeng Xiao Lian is a talented Chinese artist. He worked as a senior engineer of the Botanical Research Institute of Chinese Academy of Sciences. In addition, Zeng Xiao Lian received artistic training in Beijing. The artist has painted a series of beautiful botanical images of flowers and birds. These accurate detailed images have been published in more than fifty books, including "Flora of China", "Flora and Rhododendrons Yunnan" and others. Paintings by Zeng Xiao Lian participated in numerous national exhibitions in China, as well as in the United States, Canada and Australia. R. agglutinatum is native to China, bearing shocks of reddish-pink flowers that stand out stunningly against the deep, rich green of its leaves. Its striking beauty can be found brightening much of China, especially the moist, humid mountains near the Malay Peninsula.
