(29.2cm.) high; a quart size measure, initials 'RLH' to lid, 8¾in. (22.25cm.) high; and a pint measure, initials 'RAL' to lid, 7¼in. (18.5cm.) high, faults. (3) * Condition: Pot: Several dents around belly and a patch which is a possible old repair to pewter. Slight dent to handle and foot. Some wear to patination and surface finish throughout. Quart: Dents and dings throughout plus creasing to neck. Lower handle mount pushed inwards. Surface deterioration throughout and several old chips to edge of foot. Pint: Good patination. Shallow dent and several small dings to belly. Several dents to foot.

Lewis Gilbert (d.2018), the celebrated film director, producer and screenwriter, best known for his 007 James Bond movies and Alfie.Condition report:The painting appears to be in good condition without restoration, there is some dirt and dust resting beneath the glass, the domed glass is scratched, the diamonds are evenly matched in colour and securely set, there are some chips and surface reaching inclusions to a few of them, the engraving to the reverse is in good condition, the hinged pin is a little bent, the frame is tarnished, overall in good condition. The velvet box is rather worn in areas and the applied panel is scratched and tarnished.
Henry Robertson 'Robin' Watt (Canadian, 1896 - 1964)The Finger Wave: portrait of a young woman in profileSigned and dated 1932 lower left in pencil, pastel on paper, 28cm x 21cm, mounted, framed and under glass.Note: Henry Robertson (Robin) Watt, whose works have been exhibited in the Royal Academy in London, in Paris and in major Canadian galleries, was born in 1896, in Victoria, BC. He studied at the Royal Military Academy at Sandhurst and was commissioned in the Green Howard regiment. In World War I he was awarded the Military Cross and Croix de Guerre. He was wounded four times. For a time he served as aide de camp to Sir Arthur Currie, commander of the Canadian Corps. He resigned from the army in 1920 and began his studies in art at the Slade School in London. He returned to Victoria in 1927. He then went back to England in 1933 and stayed for 14 years. In 1948 Mr Watt returned again to Canada.
