Lalique clock titled " Inseparables" , the square frame decorated in relief with two pairs of budgerigars picked out with opalescent tint resting to flowering boughs all around the central engine turned gilt face swiss movement, signed in relief to the frame R.Lalique and engraved France to the edge, measures 4.25" square.
OIL PAINTING ON BOARD BY JAMES HOPKINS. Small pond with ducks. Block lettered name James R. Hopkins with a paper label listing artist, title Ducklings and address as Art Academy of Cincinnati. James Roy Hopkins, 1877-1969, born in Irwin, Ohio, studied with Duveneck and was Chairman of the Ohio State University Art Department. 7 1/4h. 9 1/2w. Modern gilt frame. 13 3/4h. 16w.

Attributed to WILLIAM JOHN HUGGINS (1781-1845) a Lioness with Cubs pen, ink and sepia wash 12 x 18 1/2in (30.5 x 47.1cm) according to a typed label on the reverse; said to have been given by the artist to his friend. Capt Duke; by family descent: Mrs E. Bancroft; thence to the present vendors family a watercolour by Alfred R. Baker depicting a Hereford Bull is also included in this lot (2)
