An original 1949 - 1955 issue British Railways FOREMAN and BRITISH RAILWAYS Western Region chromium plated convex totem style cap badge inlaid with chocolate brown enamel. The reverse is impressed with maker’s details J R Gaunt London. It has original rounded loop fittings and split pin fastening. Two original Brass British Railways Lion holding the Wheel Cap Badge. One Station whistle named “The Acme Thunderer” with pocket chain, stamped G.W.R. Two gold coloured Crown cap badges, possibly from a military uniform.

A late 19th Century Martin Brothers pottery jug with brown glaze and acanthus style decoration to neck, inscribed to base "R W Martin Southall 9-77", 17 cm high, together with a late 19th Century Martin Brothers pottery finial / pierced lid of square form with foliate domed decoration, inscribed to side "R W Martin - London 7-1876", 11.5 cm wide x 11.5 cm deep CONDITION REPORTS There is a crack running across the main body of the jug and there are large areas of pitting / firing faults to the glaze and the join at the base of the handle looks almost pushed in slightly to one side. All over crazing. There is a chip to the spout. Otherwise in need of a clean, general wear and tear conducive with age and use. See images for further detail.

Glass 2: tiny bubble within the glass just below the rim (see image, next to thumb). Glass 3: 2cm crack from the rim, and cracked all the way across the foot, Glass 4: 1cm fine scratch to bowl (shown in image vertically between two reflections of ceiling light), Glass 5: couple of tiny irregularities in the making (cannot photograph) but no damage found. Glass 6: no damage found. Glass 7: 1mm nick to the interior rim, 1-2mm chip to the ribbed stem. Glass 8: multiple chips to one section of the rim - total combined width approx 1cm, no other damage found.Additional images are available.

Small vase decorated with buff coloured anthemion motifs on cream ground has multiple knocks and 7mm chip to rim with 3 or 4 resulting hairline cracks, previous owners label attached but can be easily removed.
