Griffiths, 1760 § [Jerningham (Edward)] The Magdalens: An Elegy, woodcut ornament to title, woodcut head- and tail-piece, title with contemporary ink inscription "The ingenious Authors present to R. ?Marsham" to head, some very light foxing or browning, later stitching, disbound, for R. and J. Dodsley, 1763, first editions; and others, 18th century elegies, several disbound, 8vo & 4to (c.13)⁂ The first published in the year after Handel's death. We can trace no copy appearing at auction.
