Three: 1914-15 star, BWM, Victory (19368 Pte W P Smethurst, R W Fus), GVF, with a Memorial Plaque to William Parker Smethurst, star transmit slip and remains of postal envelope. The plaque now with soldered stand. Pte Smethurst of the 9th (Service) Battalion Royal Welch Fusiliers landed in France 2.12.1915 and was killed in action 8.6.1917, aged 23 years, he is commemorated at the Ypres Menin Gate. £100-120
An Edwardian scarlet tunic to a Colour Sergeant in the 4th Territorial Battalion of the Norfolk Regiment, with yellow facings, the epaulettes with T/4/NORFOLK brass titles and bullion embroidered "R", the collar with brass collar badges, the right arm with Colour Sergeant's insignia and crossed rifles above seven five pointed efficiency stars, the left arm with crossed rifles. GC, mounted on a tailor's stand. £350-400
A J. Beattie Transitional Percussion Revolver, serial #2706, .44 cal (52 bore), 5 1/2" octagon barrel. The revolver is embellished with attractive English scrollwork throughout and a silver cartouche to the carved walnut handle with shell motif. The top barrel flat is still clearly marked "J. Beattie, 205 Regent Street, London." and the patented compound rammer is marked on the left "V (Crown) R / PATENT" and on the right side with the serial number. L.33cm

Also known as a torsion pendulum clock or 400-day clock, this particular piece has a gilded Franz Quartz clock face with four rotating balls sweeping over the floral surface of the porcelain base.
