dating: 1863 provenance: Austria, Round, rifled, 13 mm cal barrel with front sight and grooved rear sight continuing to the tang, breech with marks 'BENTZ', circled 'J' and 'R', 'W' under imperial eagle and regimental number '11. H. 4. E 93.'. Forward spring lock, dated '863' and marked with double-headed eagle, provided with safety lock. Three-quarter wooden stock, iron mounts, butt plate with suspension ring. length 41.5 cm.
dating: provenance: England, Rifled, octagonal, 34 cal. barrel (clean bore, visible rifling), with (slightly flattened) foresight and fixed rear sight, signed 'N.W. HANSON DONCASTER' on the back, with marks of the London test bench. The surface of the barrel keeping about 80% of its antique bluing. Nozzle with engraved leaves, base with engravings around the cartridge rammer compartment. The lever with a swiveling release system and the cartridge rammer with return spring (!). The base of the cartridge rammer's lever with serial number '20xx' and 'V R PATENT' with crown. Six-shot cylinder with well-preserved chambers numbered on the front side of the cylinder, the sides with mark of the London test bench. Well working, single-action mechanism. The cylinder provided with a swiveling system on the pin, therefore when it is rotated, it slides backwards to avoid friction; when the chamber is aligned with the barrel for firing, the cylinder slides forward again to better fit the breech. Metal frame without finishing, the cylinder likewise and engraved with racemes as the barrel, and with frames; provided with an external safety lock on the right side to lock the cock in the first cocking position. Checkered, wooden butt with a corrector ring on the back (pertinent?) and a silver shield. Steel butt-plate with floral engraving and a primer case. Trigger guard engraved en suite with the frame. Remains of casehardening. A revolver of high aesthetic and mechanic quality. length 24,5 cm.
dating: 1912 provenance: Berlin, Beautiful photograph depicting the Kaiser with his wife Augusta Victoria and their daughter Victoria Louise along with three grandchildren. Signed and dated 'Victoria J. R 1912' underneath, court photographers' stamps. In an elegant wooden frame with Kaiser's monogram and four rosettes at the top. Under glass. dimensions 23.5 x 38.2 cm.
dating: 1844 provenance: Austria, Smoothbore, round, 18 mm cal. barrel, marked at the base 'R' under crown, '20' and with mark of the Liège test bench, foresight and clutch for the bayonet. Tang marked '183 4C A71' and with rear sight. Forward spring lock dated '844', marked 'A71' and with imperial mark. Wooden, full stock, numbered butt. Iron mounts, trigger guard marked 'A71' and with a mark. Iron ramrod and bayonet. length 146.2 cm.
dating: 1864 provenance: Austria, Round, rifled, 13.9 mm cal barrel, marked 'PIRKO', with marks 'R' and 'J' with central groove on the breech; forward spring lock dated '864' and marked with a double-headed eagle, safety lock; three-quarter wooden stock (stamps), with steel mounts and suspension ring. dating: 1870 provenance: France, Octagonal, rifled, 5 mm cal barrel, with serial number '35xx' and front sight at the base; the lower part featuring a folding knife marked 'BREVETE S. G: D. G.', and the tang marked 'S.B ' in oval; smooth six-shot cylinder; folding trigger, loading gate and extractor, black grips with rectangular escutcheon on the left side. See an example of this rare knife of Frank R. Horner's collection in 'Firearms Curiosa' by Lewis Winant, page 134 pic. 145. length 23.2 cm.
dating: 1863 - 1865 provenance: USA, Cylindrical, rifled, 44 cal barrel (clean bore, visible rifling) provided with front sight, base with marks 'C' and 'B'. Six-shot cylinder with serial number '26xxx'. Working mechanism. Frame with company and patent markings on the sides, and with stamp 'C' on both elements. Marked 'R' and with serial number matching with the cylinder, the same number is also inside the cock housing. Some pitting, especially on the back of the cylinder. Smooth wooden handle. Ranking just behind Colt and Remington, it was one of the most prevalent revolver models used by the US Government during the Civil War. Serial numbers begin at 23000. Refer to 'Flayderman's Guide,' 9th Edition, page 374, 7A-114 for more information. length 35 cm.
dating: about 1890 provenance: Kingdom of Italy, Made of fur; featuring a white metal front badge with the number '15' on a tricolor fabric cockade; the top with a metallic tassel displaying the Savoy coat of arms. Painted canvas peak (small missing parts). Complete with silver-thread rope. Leather band inside, white silk cap (showing heavy signs of wear) embroidered with the owner's monogram 'A. R. V.' under a count's crown. height 16 cm.
dating: 1890 provenance: Berlin, Big, original photograph depicting Kaiser in uniform with orders. Signed in ink 'Wilhelm J. R. Berlin 14/XI 1890' and with the photographers' stamp 'Reichard & Lindner, Berlin 1888' beside; the rear part with a large mark of the court photographers with address. A printed picture below reads 'Dem Kommandeur der Königlich Preußischen Hauptkadettenanstalt zu Lichterfelde'. In a beautiful, richly-pierced, gilded-metal frame, surmounted by the royal monogram 'W' under crown with enamels; the two upper corners with partially-enameled German eagles.
