A 1955 Norton ES2, registration number UWA 967, frame number K4 61174, engine number K461174, silver. This ES2 was originally sold by Dan Bradbury Motorcycle Ltd of London Road Sheffield, to its first registered keeper a Mr R Turner who was also a resident in the city. The Norton has been in the vendor's care since 1988 and was purchased as a restoration project (there is a note on file that states that it was in several boxes!) having rebuilt the motorcycle the machine was used regularly but sparingly, and there are MOTs on file which shows that the Norton has travelled approximately 1,000 miles since 1998. The vendor informs us that Norton is running but now requires some TLC and general fettling. The accompanying history file contains past MOTs and a Norton Owner's Club dating letter. The Norton is to be offered for auction without any reserve. RF60, V5, V5C, MOT and tax exempt See illustration

A George II silver pair cased verge pocket watch, by R. Elliott, London, 1756, Serial No. 1831, the enamelled dial with Roman numerals (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: This timepiece does wind and the movement is ticking away as it should. The dial has three faint hairline cracks emanating from the centre and is generally a little dirty. There are also minor surface scuffs and scratches to the dial. The inner case is in good order. The outer case is serviceable however the metal is a little thin and there are minor losses particularly below the numeral 6. There is also an old solder repair to the rear of the watch case indicating the thinness of this outer case.
A gentleman's silver cased open faced pocket watch, R. Linford & Sons, Norwich, a gentleman's silver cased open faced pocket watch, circa 1895, a gentleman's silver cased half Hunter pocket watch, a gentleman's engraved silver cased full Hunter pocket watch by W.E. A Lalique glass car mascot in the form of a grenouille, signed "R. Lalique, France" in script to edge of base. Height 6.1 cm, diameter of base 5 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: We have had a good look at this piece. The main body of the frog appears to be in generally good order with very minor surface abrasions and tiny scuffs on the proud parts of the moulding. None of these are significant. When looking at the left hand facing leg there are marks within the glass a little like inclusions within a diamond. The rear of the leg on the second knee has a scuff on the point and there is a fracture like a hairline crack around the rear knee. This is not in danger of detaching but is visible with a magnifying glass. The other leg appears to be in good order with only very minor scuffing at the rear joint. The circular base has various bottom edge nibbles and small chips. Underneath the left hand facing leg there appear to be traces of some lettering possibly OOE. A mould number perhaps? It is also just possible that this could be QUE in capitals however the signature is in script to the front right hand side of the base beneath the right hand facing leg.
A Lalique glass bowl, decorated with hounds, signed in script to base "R. Lalique" and with stamp to centre of bowl. Diameter 24 cm (AF). CONDITION REPORT: This lot is damaged hence the estimate. One is small approximately 7 mm x 5 mm, another large approximately 15 mm x 12 mm and the third larger still at approximately 18 mm x 15 mm. There are also a few very minor rim nibbles and several scratches to the interior of the bowl.
