March 25th 1789 by Jn. & Josiah Boydell, comprising a coloured stipple-engraved portrait of Cipriani after Rigaud, a stipple-engraved title-page, and forty-nine aquatint or stipple-engraved plates being either plain, tinted, or printed in colours, the printed "Catalogue of the Prints", one leaf, present at the end, some soiling or trivial staining in the wide margins, a few plates with short marginal tears, the plates all captioned in pencil, recent qtr. calf binding, unlettered, marbled board sides, some plates becoming loose, folio. Richard Sebastian Bond, (1908-1886), 'An extensive wooded river landscape with old water mill', oil on canvas, signed and dated 1882, 36" x 52" . Footnote: R S Bond was born in Liverpool where he studied with marine artist Samuel Austin. He lived at Bettws-y-Coed where he often worked with David Cox and William James Muller. He exhibited frequently in Birmingham and the Liverpool Academy.
A mahogany and ormolu-mounted bureau a cylindre, French, 19th century, by Paul Sormani, in Louis XV style,the tambour fall enclosing a fitted interior with drawers, pigeonholes and a sliding writing surface, the brass lock plate signed Paul Sormani,10 R. CIRCLE OF THOMAS HICKEY A portrait of a lady, half length, oval, oil on canvas, 11.5" x 9.25", in the original beaded and gadrooned giltwood frame. The reverse of the stretcher bears two labels. One for R & W Clarke of 40 & 41 Grand Parade, Cork and the other identifying the sitter as "Mrs Rice (nee Burnnett)".
Victorian Friendly Society medals (5), in silver, one with gilt centre, all presented to Brother R. Metcalf, 1886-90, and comprising Hand & Heart Lodge or John Plato Lodge, all but one with original ribands and those four with elaborate suspension devices, riband clasps etc., all profusely engraved with both emblems as well as inscriptions, generally extremely fine and scarce (5) Whilst Victorian Friendly Society medals are relatively common, they are rarely as elaborate or impressive as those offered here.

Pair to 26067 Pte. H. Stone, Ox. & Bucks. L.I., late Royal Berks. Regt.: British War & Victory Medals, with bronze Memorial Plaque, and original letters and packaging etc.; a similar pair to 50894 Pte. C. Stone, Devon R., all practically mint state; and sundry coins etc., mixed grades; and two Great War propaganda prints (lot) Pte. Herbert Stone was killed in action in France & Flanders, 13th November 1916, as a member of the Ox. & Bucks. L.I. despite his medals being named to the Royal Berks.
A pair of Art Deco silver sauceboats, of angular elliptical section with a cast border of swags, an angular spout, wicker-covered handle and supported on long hexagonal foot, 9cm high, maker's 'R&D' Birmingham 1935 and a Mappin & Webb plated ice-pail, with twin handles and reeded decoration, 14cm high.
A lacquered brass and japanned monocular microscope by 'R&J Beck Ltd, London, 30460', early 20th century, with coarse and fine focus adjustment, pivoted frame and adjustable aperture to the stage with angled mirror beneath, on Y-shaped foot, in original mahogany box with accessories, 33cm high.
An oak cased eight-day longcase clock, the four-pillar rack and bell striking movement with 12 inch white painted Arabic numeral dial with arched calendar aperture, subsidiary seconds dial and signed 'R. Foot' to centre, the angles with rose painted spandrels beneath gilt rosette and festoon decorated arch, in a later break-arch pedimented case with break-arch door and canted angles to trunk, on plinth base, 197cm high.
A George II three-division cruet stand of trefoil shape with a pair of silver-mounted and cut-glass oil and vinegar bottles, and an associated baluster caster, the base with leaf capped scroll handle and vacant cartouche panel, on four shell feet, 23cm. high overall, the stand-maker's mark S W, probably Samuel Wood, London 1752, the caster-maker's mark T R, London 1747, total weighable silver 866gm., 27.85oz.
A George III five-division cruet stand of cinqfoil shape supporting three various baluster casters, each monogrammed and with rope-twist edging and wrythen finial, together with two silver-mounted and cut-glass oil and vinegar bottles engraved with initials, the base with central carrying handle, on four shell feet, monogrammed, 25cm. high overall, maker's mark R P, possibly R Peaston, London 1764/65, total weighable silver 1324gm., 42.57oz.
