Opals from other areas are not really available easily, and certainly not as commercial as Australian.No chips or cracks to the opal, diamonds bright and clean, light general wear to the brooch.There are no hallmarks, it is bright yellow metal, we cannot test it."

Sapphires are dark teal and blue they work well together, some exhibit angled zoning, there are a few tiny flea bite chips to the facet edges, these can only be seen with a loope, otherwise light general wear, the clasps work fine too.

The diamond has a large clear feather inclusion to one side, across the kite facets, there is also a chip to the girdle in that area too, a further small clear feather inclusion to the other side. Mount ok, three claws need re-tipping. I am not qualified to give you a 4C's report, I can tell you what I can see. very very light tint of yellow in the region of H-J.
