A 1796 light cavalry style sword for yeomanry, carved, shallow fullered blade 31½”, with narrow back fuller, marked Osborn & Gunby on backstrap, brass hilt with langets, plain pommel and backstrap, brass wirebound horn grip. GC, with pleasing patina (few edge nicks and light pitting to blade). Plate 10

An interesting 1796 pattern light cavalry sword for mounted constabulary, curved fullered blade 32”, etched in capital letters in panels on one side “Horse Patrol (No 16” and on the other with maker “W. Parker. Warranted”, regulation steel strung hilt with langets, and “ears” to ribbed leather grip, plain pommel and backstrap, in its steel scabbard with 2 rings (throat mount missing). Generally GC (hilt pitted, dark pitting patina to scabbard). Plate 10

A scarce Tri-ang Minic tinplate clockwork Learners Car No.12m. A 1930's example in dark blue with light grey tonneau, with plated wheel arches and running boards, with petrol can to nearside. Fitted with separate tinplate L plate pressings to radiator and boot, wooden seats. Tinplate wheels with white rubber tyres. GC-some wear. Clockwork motor in working order. £60-90

RENE LALIQUE (1860-1945) - an "Edelweiss" pattern bowl, clear and greyish blue patinated glass decorated with three rows of Edelweiss flower heads interspersed with vertical lines circa 1937, acid etched "R Lalique France" to base, 19 cm diameter x 15.5 cm high CONDITION REPORTS Some light surface scratches, accretions, some very small nibbles to the edge of the rim. Age related wear to the base. Overall good condition with wear and tear commensurate with age and use. See photos for more details.
