Some shrinkage and repair around the edges of the panels of the back splats. Some other areas of shrinkage. Some of the ruyi panels are slightly loose. Some splits and cracks. One chair with some reinforcing supports screwed in to the edges of the underside. One chair with some scratching and flaking to varnish to the seat. Area of loss along the rear edge of the central seat panel and related loss to the underside frame. Also with some loss to the inside edge of one stretcher. One chair with some later screwed in supports to the underside of the seat. The shaped stretcher below the footrest is missing. Some cracks running across the seat.
