An 18 carat gold opal and diamond ring, with circular opal, approximately 7mm diameter, flanked by diamond shoulders, 2.9g, size O, boxedOverall condition is complete and wearable. The stone has quite a few surface marks when examined under a glass. Hallmarks are clear. General light signs of wear.
An 18th century continental carved walnut sacristy cupboard, decorated throughout with hearts, crosses and foliate designs, containing an arrangement of drawers and cupboards138w x 63d x 189h cmOverall condition looks complete and usable. Well made and the carving is crisp, but does show signs of age, as expected, with splits in the timber, such as where the pegs are used to join it, knocks and light marks from use. Has a key. May have had a cornice originally. Drawers run ok. Collected from a farm where it had been stored, so slightly dirty. Made in one piece, so heavy to move.
A silver and silver gilt goblet, with a textured stem, modelled as a bull, for the Royal Agricultural Society of England, 184g, London 1977, 15cm high, together with an Edwardian silver sifting spoon, with a pierced floral bowl (2)Overall condition looks to be complete, with only very light signs of wear. Hallmarks are clear. No inscription.
An 18 carat gold and diamond ring, with a central emerald cut stone, approximately one carat, flanked by three rows of channel set diamonds, 7.4g, size K/LOverall condition looks to be complete and undamaged. The stones appear white to the eye, however we do not have a certificate. When examined under a glass, the ring shows signs of being worn and light wear. The central stone measures approximately 8 x 5mm. Dirty at the back of the setting, from being worn. Hallmarks are clear.
A pair of Laura Ashley brown leather upholstered wing armchairs, on cabriole legs (2)Overall condition looks to be complete and sturdy. The seat pads are slightly paler in colour and cracked. There are light marks to most corners and edges, but no holes or tears.The wooden legs are marked from use. Label under the seat dated 1999. Removed from a house move, so unrestored.
A pair of 19th century pink opaline glass table lustres, each suspended with glass drops and contained under a 19th century glass dome, 51cm high (2)Overall condition looks to be complete. One has small flat chips toi the top of the crown, which are not easy to spot. Otherwise light wear and signs of age as expected. The domes appear intact and complete, but do have a rough edge around the base.

No obvious or visible damage or repairs. Looks to date from the late 20th century. Removed from a local house, so unrestored.
A modern dining twin pedestal pine dining table, together with a set of ten simulated bamboo dining chairs, to include two carvers (11)180w x 120d x 78h cmOverall condition of the table is complete and usable, with only very light signs of use. The chairs are complete and usable, although both carvers are missing the seat pad. They have a rustic painted finish. Otherwise the chairs are in reasonable condition and the frames appear solid. Collected from a local house move.
William "Bill" Davies (British, b.1928), “Evening Light, Grand Canal, Venice”, oil on canvas, signed lower left, 18in x 24in (45.5cm x 61cm), unframed. Provenance: See Century Galleries, Henley-on-Thames, Exhibition brochure, 27.09.1998. Note: William Davies was a member of The Wapping Group and exhibited his work widely, including at ROI and RMSA, and was noted for his paintings of London, Venice and other marine subjects.
A late 19th century Copeland porcelain Cockatoo, circa 1882, with coloured glass eyes and textured naturalistic coloured plumage, modelled standing upon a porcelain perch, the perch with incised stamp ‘Copeland’ beneath an indistinct mark, the whole set within a foliate-decorated gilt-metal hoop formed into a four-branch chandelier surmounted by a bat emblem; the cockatoo measures 51cm high, the diameter of the hoop is approximately 53cm, light fitting branches have been misshapen and one branch is separate but present. Provenance: it has been in the vendor’s family since early 1900s. The Spode Museum Trust has made the following comments about this Copeland Cockatoo: ‘An entry in Copeland’s 1882 factory price list for statuary porcelain under the miscellaneous category states: Cockatoo, fitted with Copper Suspender. China Coloured Naturally. £1. 5s. 0d. Copeland’s catalogue photograph states that the bird measures 20 inches in height (51cm). The copper suspender measures 21½inches across (55cm). Your example appears to have a replacement fitting (American?) converting it into some sort of light fitting.’

A Victorian day bed - with modern button-back upholstery in ivory damask, raised on baluster turned walnut supports with brass castors. (LWH 180 x 64 x 86cm)* There is some movement to one side of the back. The legs have some old and more recent chips to the edges of the turning. One has a recent screw through the block to secure the joint to the underside of the chaise. The fabric has some light brown dirt marks to the surface of the fabric around the edges, and one large black oily-looking mark to the centre of the outside of the back (please see photo). The current upholstery is tacked to the underside of the back and these tacks are loose in places, allowing the frame to be seen (again, see photo). These tacks should be easy to reinstate if required.
A stoneware studio pottery baking dish - signed indistinctly, of ring form, with twin-handles to the base and lid, the centre with a pierced wheel design, decorated in shades of light blue and white mottled glaze, 32cm diameter plus handles; together with a vintage 1970s pottery lamp, in a mottled treacle glaze, with tall, conical cream fabric shade, 70cm high. Clarke' acrylic on board, signed with initial lower right, signed, dated 2008 and inscribed verso 14½ x 12½in (36.8 x 31.75cm), dark blue stained frame (42.5 x 38cm); together with three other unframed acrylic / gouache on canvas paintings, two signed by Casimira Mostyn, 16 x 20in (41 x 51cm). 2 large lengths of good quality bullion fringe for curtain or upholstery trim: to include very good quality, unused fringe in sky blue, light blue and cream on woven gimp edging, possibly Colefax and Fowler or similar (likely RRP approx £80-£100pm) , 720cm long x 15cm drop; together with good quality, used yellow wool fringe, sunfaded but fair condition overall, 470cm long x 20cm drop.
A one-off illuminated and handwritten calligraphic manuscript volume, 'The Revelation of St John the Divine' - believed to be the work of Ruth M. How (ex-Somerville College, Oxford, c.1949-51), on J. Green & Son handmade paper with deckle edge, 70pp, full dark-brown soft calf binding with silk ribbon ties and punch decorated rondel to the cover, with a phoenix within a six-pointed star, folio.* Condition: Slightly indented scratch to leather to upper right of black centre section of cover. Back cover has some white dirt / mould marking to the surface - it is on the surface and does appear to come off completely, so should be fairly easy to remove with care. A few minor losses to the green silk on one of the ribbon ties. There is some time staining to the end papers both front and back and light time staining to the half title. The rest of the pages have time staining to the fore edges. The pages appear to be almost completely free of spotting, but there are some minor finger soiling marks to the fore edges and a few tiny ink spot marks and tiny smudges through the volume. Overall in good condition.
A large Georgian-style dolls house on stand - late 20th century, the house with eight windows and three dormers in the tiled roof, the front with a fold-down front with shallow front garden and central path leading to steps up to a portico porch and black painted six panel front door, the two-part hinged front opening to reveal two rooms and a central hallway/landing with staircase to each of the three floors, with wood veneered floorboards and a tiled floor to the hall, each room with a fireplace, wallpaper, pictures and light fittings, the roof hinged to reveal two servants' rooms to the attic, the basement with three further kitchen / cellar rooms, with six bisque head doll's house dolls and a small amount of furniture and accessories, the right side of the house with a lean-to glasshouse with an arched entrance to a carriage / car port beneath, the main house LWH 93 x 43 x 124cm, overall size including the beechwood stand 122 x 70 x 168cm, requires some restoration and the electrics untested.
