BALLISON M.C., 6TH BATTALION The Durham Light Infantry, 28th August 1919", the steel hilt pierced and engraved with Royal cypher, with wire bound fishskin grip and blackened pigskin service scabbard, 100cmBlack patching to blade. A P Beretta Model S686 Special Sporting 12 bore shotgun, double barrel, over and under, 28" barrels, (No. E80429B), with associated leather trimmed canvas sleeve (REQUIRES PRODUCTION OF A CURRENT SHOTGUN / RFD LICENCE PRIOR TO RELEASE FROM THE AUCTION ROOMS) CONDITION REPORTS Barrels good, action good. Tape marks to the fore-end (no doubt removeable with damp cloth). Signs of light wear and tear conducive with age and use to the woodwork. Over all good.

A box containing a Vienna style gilt decorated pierced compote/fruit basket on stand 23 cm in diameter x 19 cm high, a set of three early 19th Century Coalport floral decorated cups and saucers in the Empire style, a further Coalport gilt and floral decorated cup and saucer, 19th Century gilt decorated slop bowl, a silver mounted Aynsley coffee cup with matching saucer, a gilt and fruit decorated hot chocolate cup inscribed "T & V France, Marion C. McIndoe" to base and a Continental ornamental basket as carriage being drawn by putti (1 box) CONDITION REPORTS The set of three Coalport cups and saucers ONLY:- One saucer is fine, the other two saucers have a dull ring, one of which has a visible hairline crack running down it, the other one is heavily crazed but nothing else particularly visible. The cups have some marks to the inside and the inside of the handles. The blue and gilt Coalport - the cup doesn't ring true and has a strange mottled appearance underneath UV. The saucer has significant wear to the gilding on the edge and a firing crack to one edge. General wear and tear to all including light surface scratching. In need of a clean. Some firing marks, etc. See images for examples.

Clock is running and appears to be on time. Has some light surface scratching, particularly noticeable to the bottom of the dial casing. General wear and tear conducive with age and use.
