A Mid 19th Century Killarney Yew Wood and Inlaid Work Table, the hinged lid inlaid with a panel depicting an abbey surrounded by a foliate trailing border and harps, red velvet lined removable fitted interior, raised on a tapering baluster support with circular base, carved feet and castors, 56cm by 41cm by 77cm Generally good uniform colour and reasonable condition. Lid with several very fine natural? splits which are mostly visible on the exterior. Interior with velvet lined tray. Painted interior (just the centre sunk section). Small sections of timber missing around the moulding and lid. Shaped body rather light in colour. Base with general bruising around feet. Small chips around socle and general bruising/very fine minor splits throughout the support. Top section slightly unstable. 111114

General bruising and scratches to the table frame, consistent with age. Bruising around bulbous later. Later dowels added to frame for strengthening. Blocks removed from drawers. Chairs - generally good. Framework with minor bruising consistent with age. Upholstery generally good and clean, with the exception of 2 or 3 chairs with light staining.
