AN EARLY c1905 STEIFF TEDDY BEAR; An original early circa 1905 Steiff ' blank button ' teddy bear. 16" tall. Fully jointed arms and legs, with swivel head. Light golden mohair. Original boot button eyes, with straw / woodwool stuffing. Heavy pronounced snout with hump to rear. Comes along with an original valuation from 1995. From a personal and private collection of antique Steiff teddy bears, amassed over many years.
Southern Railway brass cased fusee ships clock. The original 8 inch dial has had some light restoration and shows SR 10219, the brass case has a cast brass bezel with bevelled glass and the substantial chain driven fusee movement with Harrisons maintaining power is in clean working condition. The clock is mounted on a mahogany plinth which has a brass plate attached S.S. Canterbury 1929 – 1964 Presented to the Dover Waterguard. The Southern railway clock records confirm clock no 10219 was used on SS Canterbury. The Waterguard were the forerunner of the Customs & Excise. A rare and important maritime and railway timepiece.

Measures 14 inches x 10 inches. Together with a framed & glazed front cover of the Ford Motor Company Magazine 'The Light Car' dated December 1944 with this very painting featured on the front cover.
