A large and unusual hand knotted Eastern Carpet, the Chinese style mon within stylised Ruyi shaped cloud heads and four further mon with stylised opposing raptors, the whole against a lime green ground and a light rose pink border with cobalt blue sprigs, approx. 503cm x 354cm (some wear) CONDITION REPORT: This has overall staining, prevalent wear, old repairs, fading (see images).
A 19th century Chinese porcelain Snuff Bottle of hexagonal form (broken neck and re-glued) together with one other Chinese circular example decorated with three standing figures, both Snuff Bottles have green Jade stoppers, the tallest 8.5cm, (2) CONDITION REPORT: The hexagonal Snuff Bottle has a black ring around the neck but this appears to rub off under light scraping, the rest of the Snuff Bottle looks in good honest genuine original condition. The round Snuff Bottle has some brown markings to the bottle which again appear to disappear after a light rubbing. The foot appears OK and the rest of the Bottle appears OK also.
A Kangxi style Chinese porcelain Vase of baluster form (cut down slightly to the top and restorations to the top area), decorated in underglaze blue with scrolling lotus against a leafy ground, six-character Kangxi reign mark to underside, probably 19th century (drill hole approx. 6cm from the foot), 30cm high CONDITION REPORT: There is a drill hole in the base where a wire has been fitted, there are surface scratches, the vase has been cut down and the top section is now missing, there are some light scratches to the underside of the piece.
An early/mid-19th Century Chinese circular porcelain Planter finely decorated in relief enamels with cranes flying amongst stylised cloud etc., with four cobalt blue circular vignettes, each with a female figure in garden style surroundings, 20cm high (14cm hairline to base) CONDITION REPORT: The piece appears quite grubby and dirty with most of the marks coming off upon light cleaning, the piece appears to be in good general overall original condition save for the 14/15cm crack to the base which is mentioned in the catalogue description. The enamels appear bright and pleasing with the many Cranes flying amongst the Lingzhi fungus. The interior bottom appears stained and the crack is also visible upon interior inspection
A 19th century Chinese porcelain Dish, central decoration of Lingzhi fungus within a lappet border and outer border with leaves surrounding four different character marks, the underside painted with four stylised bats and also with iron oxide red six-character mark to underside, 18.5cm diameter CONDITION REPORT: Bowl has wear to gilt script and gilt rim, no cracks, chips or restoration detected under u.v. light in bowl, very small foot rim chipping.
A 19th century Chinese porcelain Snuff Bottle decorated in relief with blossoms against a mid-blue ground, four-character mark to underside, cabouchon green Jade stopper, 8cm CONDITION REPORT: The stand looks in good order, the green celadon jade cabouchon stopper has what looks like a natural striation running though it (see image), the body of the main snuff bottle has some light pitting on the turquoise blue ground, the lip of the top of the bottle although dirty and some discolouration looks in good order with no reference to chips, cracks, hairlines or restoration noted. The foot rim has notable kiln dirt and also four character mark (see images).
Baccarat (France), a modern waisted tapering, octagonal heavy crystal Vase, etched Baccarat (France) mark to underside, 25cm high, (minor scratch to one bottom panel and scratching to underside of foot etc., CONDITION REPORT: There is a minor scratch to the bottom of one panel, there is some surface scratching to the underside of the foot and there is also a small light bruise approx. 9cm up from one of the bottom panels although no cracks, chips, hairlines or restoration noted.
A large and fine Royal Crown Derby Dinner Service, each piece hand gilded and decorated in the 1128 Imari pattern, comprising a large circular lidded Tureen (29cm diam.) and Stand, the lid finial modelled as an acorn; a two-handled oval Entrée Dish and Cover; a larger oval Platter; twelve Dinner Plates; twelve medium-sized Plates; seven Side Plates and twelve two-handled Soup Bowls (three with circular stands), (52 pieces in total (including lids) and each piece with printed Royal Crown Derby marks to underside) CONDITION REPORT: No damage detected under UV light, one plate has 0.5cm scratch to the gilt rim overall very minor wear to the edges of the gilt surfaces on the plate edges and minor cut marks to centres of dinner plates otherwise good. There are no cancellation or scratch marks through the back stamps.
A heavy hallmarked silver Cigar Case, profusely engraved with stylised scrolls, centrally monogrammed CRH, gilt interior, makers mark WN Ltd, assayed Birmingham 1915, approx. 197g, 15.5cm CONDITION REPORT: Generally good although a small 1.5cm light kink is noted to one end of the cigar case and when closed a slight gap is noted to one side where the two pieces of hinged silver meet. There is also a very small dent to the middle near the hinge, see images, no major problems noted.
ADDED LOT A ladies rose gold coloured Dress Ring set with two large hand cut light yellow stones, Ring size 'N' CONDITION REPORT: The ring has been cut at some stage and repaired at the back and we think the hallmarks may have gone in this process but we are 95% sure that the ring is rose gold but there are no actual hallmarks, we aren't sure what the stones are they are fairly large and in claw settings.
A mid-19th century Chinese Canton porcelain Vase decorated in enamels in the famille rose palette, the flaring neck above two flange style handles and applied Chilong style dragons above fens looking skyward towards stylised clouds etc., with multi-coloured lappet style base, 33.5cm high CONDITION REPORT: The Vase appears to be in good overall original condition, no restoration or chips detected under u.v. light, base scratches evident (see images).

A quatrefoil-shaped Chinese porcelain Dish, delicately decorated in enamels with flower heads and scrolling foliage etc., against a light green ground, with gilded edge border, gilded base and six-character seal mark to underside, 14.5cm wide CONDITION REPORT: As evidenced by the images taken the Dish exhibits a wire where it was originally hung on a wall, the piece looks in good general overall condition and under a glass minor pinhead sized pieces of gilding to the edge of the rim are noted to be away otherwise in good general overall order. The piece is 14.5cm wide x approx. 2.5cm high Provenance:Given to us for sale by an elderly private lady vendor who inherited it from her parents many years ago.
In the style of Thomas Sydney Cooper (1803-1902), a Watercolour Study of sheep in a country landscape, 23.5cm x 36cm CONDITION REPORT: Under non-reflective glass and has been reframed, looks generally very good overall original condition, I could be noted that just above the standing sheep's head there are a couple of light brown foxing style marks, we do not think it is good enough to be by Cooper but is certainly in the style of Cooper.
A very fine early-20th century Chinese hardwood (with material panels) six-fold Room Screen, the panels extremely finely detailed and tightly carved with various objects, animals including Qilin, deer, dragons, fen, scholars and attendants etc., the textile panels similarly decorated with figures before buildings in the open air etc., the reverse of the Screen also carved with various decorative motifs, symbolism etc., the end panels symmetrical and opposing, the stile feet with metal cap ends, 189.5cm high CONDITION REPORT: Two of the upper rear carved rectangular panels have horizontal cracks (images) the rear silk with bird decoration have two panels with small circular brown stains, one rear silk panel frame has the left hand rail and bottom rail missing, rear silk frames some pegs missing/replaced, front right hand silk panel some moth damage and tear to lower section, some light staining to silk panels, other minor wear and tear to frame commensurate with age and use. 35.5cm wide
A 19th Century Chinese oak table cabinet, the two panelled doors displaying carved foliate-style spandrels and opening to reveal an arrangement of six half-width over one full-width lower drawer, raised on lions paw style feet, 44.5cm wide CONDITION REPORT: The top of the piece has an approx. 8/9cm light scratch in the middle towards the back and also a small bruise on the front right hand side, the right hand panel seems OK although some very small pinholes are noted, the left hand panel seems good, the door are of a fairly nice colour and tightly carved with no major problems noted and they seem to shut flush and flat, the animals claw feet seem to be in good general overall condition although there a few minor scuffs and scratches commensurate with age. The drawers inside seem in good general overall order, the back looks dark and original.
A gentleman's 9-carat yellow gold cased open-faced Pocket Watch, white enamel dial with Roman numerals and signed 'J.W. Benson, London', the subsidiary seconds hand at the 6 o'clock position, original case CONDITION REPORT: Nothing major noted save for light scratching to the surface of the gold and also to the surface of the front of the glass commensurate with age. The watch has come privately and appears to be in good general overall original condition. Upon inspection under a glass there appears to be very minor chipping to the very edge of the glass where it is proud from the surface of the gold. The watch is ticking and appears to keep good time. Diameter of the enamel face is approx. 2.5cm, height to include the suspension ring is approx. 6.75cm. No engravings or polishing out. The dial measures at approx. 4.1cm is 9 carat gold Birmingham hallmarks to 1925
An unusual early 20th Century yellow gold (fully cased) Wristwatch, the engine turned engraved dial cover with vacant cartouche and marked 585, the white dial with Arabic numerals and signed Longines, the subsidiary seconds hand at the 6 o'clock position, the rear of the case with similar engine turning, on later crocodile effect grain black leather strap CONDITION REPORT: The watch appears in generally very good overall original condition, the dial looks clean and unrepaired and although not tested fully the watch has been wound and continues to tick well. No repairs or major dents although light surface scratching can be seen under a glass on the back of the case where it sticks out slightly for a thumbnail to open it. 3cm diameter.
