Marklin No.1992 "Marklin" Delivery Van with canvas tilt - of recent Limited Edition production, turquoise wings and cab roof, red body, light wear to the front lamps which are wired for electric lighting, tinplate clockwork model, 42cm long - otherwise Excellent Plus to Near Mint including presentation box, key and certificate.
Triang E-type Jaguar Pedal Car - c.1961, the pressed steel body has been resprayed in British Racing green, light surface corrosion to the original chrome wheels, suspension to back axle, includes pedals and working crank, retro fitted with replacement windscreen, dashboard and wooden steering wheel but still a Fair to Good restored example which would benefit from a little tidying, 107cm long which comes with an elasticated dust cover.
A pair of British made Motorcycles (1) Wells or similar tinplate friction drive Motorcycle with rider, 9cm - Good Plus, friction drive in working order, (2) Budgie Toys "Express Delivery" Motorcycle and Sidecar - blue bike with gold trim, red sidecar, unpainted spoked wheels, diecast construction with black plastic driver, light wear to edges and to riders helmet, otherwise generally Good Plus to Excellent, 11cm. Schuco No.5700 Synchromatic tinplate Packard Car - light green Open-top Tourer with cream trim, detailed tinprinted seating, steering to front wheels, battery operated, with steering wheel accessory and instructions, very slight crazing to the clear plastic windscreen and lacks control wire - otherwise Excellent for display, 27cm long in a Good illustrated box (some water marks) with inner tray.
Schuco No.1007 Motodrill Clown Motorcycle - scarce tinplate clockwork example with red wings, detailed tinprinting, clown figure has white face, brown hair, blue cap and green jacket, very light wear to jacket but otherwise generally an Excellent Plus to near Mint example, complete with key, motor in working order and still retains a Fair original colourfully illustrated box.
M toys and other miniature tinplate Cars and Vehicles - lot comprises a 10cm tinplate free wheeling 2-door Open-top Car - light blue, detailed tinprinting, with initial "M" to rear and registration number AL141 - Good. Smaller 7cm tinplate miniature vehicles comprise a red 4-door Car, a Railway Locomotive and an Open-backed Truck - Good. (4)
Wolseley, Bullnose Morris and VW Beetle large handbuilt wooden Cars - (1) VW Beetle model, carved from solid wood, lacks front bumper otherwise Good, 27cm, (2) Bullnose Morris 2-door Coupe - large scale model formed from wood, with blue felt hood, metal disc wheels with rubber tyres, steering to front, light blue with black running boards, some storage wear to roof, 38cm, (3) 23cm model of a 1930s Wolseley 4-door Saloon - grey, blue, steerable front wheels, the doors are made to open but require a little freeing up and lacks a headlight - interesting lot. (3)
Triang Diesel Series pressed steel 4-wheeled Shell Tanker, c.1956 - scarce example is red, with solid rubber wheels and bright plated centres, includes rubber bung to tank filler and brass tap to lower rear tank, some light retouching but still a Good Plus bright example, 37cm long which has retained its Good original Triang cardboard box.
Triang 200 Series Tipper Lorry with steering c.1952 - scarce example formerly on display in the Chester Toy Museum comprising a light green cab and chassis, with solid steering wheel, red tipping body and pressed steel hubs with thick rubber tyres, includes both securing chains to rear. Unusually this example is factory fitted with a system of hinged rods and a pedal car steering wheel; to enable the vehicle to be propelled from the rear and steered, this system was abandoned by Triang and very few of this type were made. Light storage wear otherwise an Excellent example overall, 49cm long.
Triang Thames Trader Articulated Shell BP Tanker - large pressed steel example with a diecast cab, red/white prime mover, fitted with windows and wired for electric headlamps, orangey red Tanker Trailer with opening filler cap to top and Triang logo to rear, light wear to edges of cab roof - otherwise Good Plus to Excellent bright example, complete with Scammell coupling gear, 58cm long.
Triang large pressed steel Routemaster Single Decker Bus - scarce example from the Triang range, c.1964, believed to have only been in the catalogue for one year, model is red, with white interior, "London Transport" stickers to sides, lacks striker to under side but includes bell, some light play wear and nicks and scratches - generally a Good scarce example overall, 57cm long.
Mettoy Lorry and British tinplate Cars, (1) Mettoy 4-wheeled Open Lorry, tinplate, clockwork in working order, dark green with cream interior, some light surface corrosion but generally a Good example with opening tailgate, 28cm. Also included are a pair of British made tinplate freewheeling Cars, with registration number JBP 501 and 502 - Fair to Good, 15cm. (3)
Wells tinplate Tipp Lorry with Trailer - scarce ex shop stock example from the Pre-war or immediate Post-war period, green cab, yellow roof, detailed tinprinting, with red chassis, balloon wheels and a matching tinplate Trailer - both vehicles have opening tailgates, the Lorry has a working tipping action with ratchet, very light wear to edges and particularly to running board on right hand side of Lorry - otherwise Excellent to Excellent Plus bright examples in a Good card box with colourfully illustrated lid, a rare combination, 47cm long.
Large handbuilt model of the AEC Matador Military Truck - impressive large scale model of this well known military Lorry, made famous by the Airfix 1/76th scale Kit, this is a much larger model. At 55cm long, constructed mainly from wood, with some plastic and metal fittings, rubber tyres, opening doors to cab, drop-down rear tailgate, requires some light tidying but generally a Good impressive example with steerable front wheels, the front steering assembly requires reattachment. Also included is a recent issue tinplate Indian made Dodge Military Truck in US livery with canvas tilt and steerable wheels, to a similar scale as the AEC, 35cm long - Excellent. (2)
Large 6-wheeled pressed steel Fire Engine - 1950s, red, with silver extending ladder, rotary controls for rotation and elevation etc, steerable front wheels, would benefit from further cleaning and some light surface corrosion particularly to ladder but generally Good for display, of Eastern European manufacture, overall, 67cm long.
Triang 1950s pressed steel Routemaster Bus - orangey red, with cream interior, fitted with Harrods advertising, with pull cord and bell to underside, some light wear particularly to front grille, rear transfers and paper adverts, slight spidering effect to paintwork - otherwise a Good Plus bright example, 58cm long.
Lincoln (Hong Kong) large plastic Lotus Indianapolis Racing Car - impressive battery operated model is red, plated parts, driver, racing number 6, some light storage wear but generally Excellent Plus to Near Mint example with remote control cable attached, 31cm in a Good Plus colourfully illustrated box with inner packaging.
Burnett (UK) tinplate clockwork General B Type Bus - very rare example of this 1920s opentop Vintage Double Deck Bus - red, grey, with detailed tinprinting, uniformed driver, steerable front wheels, with contemporary advertising e.g. Ideal Milk, Bovril, Colmans Mustard etc, with open staircase to rear and interior seating, detailed radiator grille, permanent key, the clockwork is in working order, light wear to some of the raised edges with very slight surface corrosion and to the wheel edges but still otherwise a Good Plus example, the first such model Vectis have had, 23cm long.
Jacobs Coronation Coach novelty - decorative tinplate item, produced as a confectionary container, detailed tinprinting with classical artistic scenes depicted, removable roof serves as the lid, spoked wheels, light wear to edges and wheels but generally Good Plus in a Fair to Good complete card box.
